Robert B. Pierce, CFA
Ben Pierce currently teaches in the Economics and Finance Department at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. In addition to writing material for the Stalla Review and teaching the review program in Kansas City, Ben has also taught the Kansas City Society of Financial Analysts review for the CFA exam. In the past several years, he founded RB Pierce & Company, merged his clients with a regional firm, and became a district manager for that firm. Ben also has experience advising private clients at Smith Barney and Metropolitan Life.
Ben served as Senior Manager with WorldCom until the mid-1990s, and has economic forecasting and financial analysis experience with Southwestern Bell Corporation and Citicorp. Students in his CFA preparatory classes enjoy his unique ability to blend real-world experience with intellectually challenging material in an understandable and enjoyable format. He holds an M.B.A. in International Management - Finance from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), and a B.S. in Economics with a Minor in Finance from Central Missouri State University.
