Robert J. Stalla, Ph.D., CFA

Robert J. Stalla, Ph.D., CFA, has been both an academic and a practicing securities analyst and investment strategist. His academic experience includes university teaching in statistics, finance, and economics. As an investment professional, he has been a senior vice president of McDonald & Company Investments, Inc., where he worked for 28 years as a securities analyst, economist, investment strategist, and consultant. With this background, Dr. Stalla possesses the academic training needed to master the theoretical material required by the CFA® program, the practical experience of a seasoned practitioner, and the teaching experience needed to clearly communicate this knowledge to others. Dr. Stalla has honed his skills by preparing candidates for the CFA Exam for more than a quarter of a century. Since 1972, he has conducted CFA review courses for leading banks, insurance companies, and analyst societies, as well as his own regional review courses in major financial centers all over the world. Dr. Stalla is looking forward to his 29th year of serving CFA candidates.
