Stalla’s Commitment to You: Tuition Free Continuing Help (TFCH)

Because we believe that the Stalla System will ultimately help you  master the CFA curriculum and pass the exams, we  offer all Stalla candidates Tuition Free Continuing Help.

This means that if you complete all of the requirements (see list below), sit for the CFA Exam, but do not pass, Stalla will allow you to repeat the course tuition-free. TFCH is available to Stalla candidates who:

  • Correctly answer at least 90 percent of all the PassMaster software multiple-choice questions. (Although, you are not limited in the number of attempts to reach this level, all questions must be attempted using the PassMaster software.)
  • Provide a copy of your official exam results showing a failing grade. Or provide a screen print o or  CFA Institute posted online results.
  • Attend or view all the Stalla course lectures.

Please note. While tuition fees will be waived, for subsequent examination cycles , candidates will need to purchase updated study guides corresponding to the updated CFA Institute readings.  Bottom line: this means that while you must purchase your Study Guide, your fees for Lectures and Instructors, Lecture Notes, PassMaster Software, and Unlimited access to a Personal Tutor are all waived.

How to Request TFCH

If you are confident you have met the above criteria, please read and follow all of these steps as they apply to you to receive your TFCH certificate:

  • From the PassMaster software, print out the "TFCH Report," which summarizes the completion status of all lectures. (The "Performance Summary" section of the PassMaster manual explains how to print this report.)
    • Classroom students: write your name and classroom location (i.e. Boston, MA) clearly on the bottom of the PassMaster "Performance Summary" sheet and include the e-mail address to which your TFCH certificate should be sent.
    • Online or CD students: follow the same procedures for classroom students, but substitute the type of course you took (online or CD) for classroom location.
  • Remove your attendance records from your Study Guides.
  • If you have "viewed" classes online you must all print a report from your online Grade Book. To print this report, click on the "Grade Book" link from the "My Tools" area of your Internet portal. In the Grade Book window, click the Print button, or follow the instructions on the screen.

Collect the information described above that applies to you, and fax all to (866) 398-7375 no later than 30 days following the last day of your live or online classes. For CD students, please fax within eight months following the date your product was shipped.

Certificates will be sent to you after all TFCH requirements have been reviewed. Certificates expire 365 days following your completion of the applicable level (or for CD students, from the issue date). Please note that TFCH can only be applied to the original level purchased. (For example, candidates must be repeating the same course level to qualify, and no discounts apply to candidates who are advancing to the next level of study.)

50 Percent Tuition Discount for Repeating Stalla Candidates
Apply to CD-ROM, Online, or Live Classroom Courses

Stalla classroom students who want to repeat the course but do not meet the requirements  for TFCH are eligible to receive a 50 percent discount off the total tuition of the repeated course, including Study Guides and Exam Volumes. Candidates must be repeating the  same level course. They may, however, choose to apply their 50 percent discount to a different  classroom format. (For example, a former classroom student may choose to repeat the course using the self-study CD or online courses.) Please note that this offer applies only to Stalla System purchases.
