Level I Workshops – Financial Analysis Techniques

At Level I, Stalla’s expert instructors will help candidates understand frequently used tools and techniques employed by analysts to evaluate companies, including common size analysis, cross sectional analysis, trend analysis and ratio analysis.  Level 1 Students will also walk away with a Study Guide, class lecture CD, and Lecture Notes for the entire LI Study Session 10 that includes the topics above plus other critical FRA topics such as:

• Accounting Shenanigans and Earnings Quality Warning signs
• Financial analysis screens and financial projections
• Issues pertaining to international standards convergence and the IFRS framework

Level II Workshops – Issues in Post Retirement and Share-Based Compensation

At Level II, Stalla’s expert instructors will help candidates understand the key issues surrounding corporate pensions and other post-retirement benefits and their implications for a company’s financial performance and outlook.  Level II students will also walk away with a Study Guide, class lecture CD and Lecture Notes for the entire LII Study Session 6 that includes the topics above, plus issues in multinational operations such as:

• Foreign currency transaction exposure to foreign exchange risk
• How to assess the impact of exchange rate changes on financial position
• The current rate and temporal methods for translation of foreign currencies
